For many years, Portland was one of only a handful of major cities lacking a dedicated hotel for its convention center location, causing the region to lose out to its competitors on major sources of potential convention revenue. In 2018, Viking partnered with its mentor Mortenson, and through our wholly-owned subsidiary Viking Mechanical LLC, helped to complete large portions of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system for the hotel.
