The Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in the heart of Portland, Oregon, is an 18-story, 525,000 square foot facility that is home to more than 16 federal agencies and 1,200 federal employees. The building was originally constructed in 1974 and underwent a major renovation between 2009 and 2013 funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Viking Engineering + Construction partnered with the prime mechanical contractor and direct digital controls (DDC) subcontractor to install all of the conduits, raceways, and boxes for the low-voltage electrical HVAC controls.
