Multnomah County purchased the Bushong & Co building at 333 SW Park Avenue in January 2019 for renovation as a behavioral health resource center to help prioritize services for people with mental illness who are experiencing homelessness.
The project is being developed in partnership with peer-run mental health nonprofits and will include a community resource center, shelter beds and transitional housing.
Viking Engineering + Construction partnered with one of our mentor firms, Mortenson Construction, to provide staff augmentation in two critical areas: Field Project Engineer and Assistant Superintendent.
Our augmented staff has taken on responsibility for the day-to-day management of major aspects of the interior build-out, including structural steel, waterproofing, and other interior packages.
